If you’re planning to enjoy the Village’s nightlife, it’s worth knowing that some venues have their own dress codes.
Requirements vary, so we always recommend checking the dress code before your visit.
Restaurants & bars
Most restaurants don’t have a strict dress code. Smart casual is usually the perfect choice, although you’ll see everything from relaxed summer outfits to elegant evening wear.
Clubs
Most clubs expect guests to dress up, and dress codes can be quite specific. For women, elegant dresses, lingerie, sheer fabrics and high heels are common, while trousers may not be permitted. For men, smart shirts, tailored trousers and elegant shoes are often expected.
Some venues have more daring dress codes, so we always recommend checking the requirements of the club you’re planning to visit.
BDSM venues
BDSM venues usually have more specific dress codes. For men, all black is often expected. Beyond that, the dress code leaves plenty of room for creativity: leather, latex, lingerie, elegant black outfits and other fetish-inspired looks are all common, depending on the venue.
Theme nights
Throughout the season, the Village hosts several popular themed events, including:
- White Party
- Tropical Party
- Christmas in August
- Other themed evenings throughout the summer
